For Individuals

Meditation is a practice of cultivating a state of being fully present in each moment. It’s a practice that anyone can undertake to develop a greater sense of mindfulness and awareness in their daily life.
Meditation is not about attainment.
My personal approach to meditation is based in a commitment to sitting every day. That said, I meditate most days. Not every day because well, life. Like many people, I began sitting because I thought it would get me something. Less stress, better concentration, patience. Over time, I’ve learned that meditation is not about attainment. In fact, I believe, trying to get specific things from meditation, especially hoping to become a different person, rarely works. Furthermore, approaching meditation as a way to “fix” yourself can actually hinder your development of discernment, awareness, and understanding.
Being present.
For me, meditation is about learning how to simply be in the moment I am experiencing. Being present. This can mean walking my dog, driving to work, or making a meal. It can also mean focusing on really listening when someone is speaking to me, paying attention to their words, rather than waiting my turn to talk.
I believe anyone can meditate.
More honestly, I find my meditation practice to be more about attempting to be in that moment. I’m human and I know you are too. That’s why I believe that anyone can meditate. Everyone can make an attempt to be present.
Mediation practice can enhance your emotional and physical well-being.
Finally, I care deeply about being clear with you about what I can offer. While I’m passionate about meditation and its well-researched benefits for emotional and physical well-being, I want you to know that I serve as your meditation coach, not as a therapist or life coach. Meditation can be a wonderful complement to your wellness journey, and I’m here to guide and support your practice. However, it’s important to note that meditation works best alongside professional care when needed, rather than as a replacement. I’d be honored to work with you to develop meditation skills that can enhance your overall well-being.
